Radarena am Ring: Start in Eichenbach, Road bike route 1

The cycle network of the Radarena am Ring and many quiet roads in beautiful landscape offer great opportunities for cyclists of all kinds. Flat routes through river valleys and on former railway tracks contrast with the hilly upland landscape. Extreme climbs are to be found in the area around the Nürburgring and the Hohe Acht.

From the starting point in Eichenbach you initially go slightly downhill into the Middle Ahr Valley to Fuchshofen, then initially steeply uphill to the elevated village of Reifferscheid. The route impresses with the special charm of the Ahr river valley and the ridges of the Ahr mountains with breathtaking panoramic views.

Over a total route length of 27.4 km, 666 m of altitude are covered. The altitude difference here is 275 m.
