Radarena am Ring: Start in Adenau, Road bike route 2
The cycle path network of the Radarena am Ring and many quiet roads in a beautiful landscape offer great possibilities for cyclists of all types. Flat routes through river valleys and on former railway tracks contrast with the hilly low mountain landscape. Extreme climbs are offered by the area around the Nürburgring and the Hohe Acht.
The route starts in Adenau, initially descending gently into the middle Ahr valley to Fuchshofen, then steeply climbing to the altitude village of Reifferscheid. The route impresses with the special charm of the Ahr river valley and the heights of the Ahr mountains with wonderful distant views.
Over a total length of 62.6 km, 1116 meters of altitude are covered. The elevation difference is 330 m.
The route is classified with the difficulty level "medium."
There are further routes in the Radarena am Ring available from the starting point Adenau:
- Road bike route 1: length 29.6 km, difficulty level easy
- Road bike route 3: length 96.8 km, difficulty level hard
