AhrSchleife Köhlerblicke (Müsch)

The circular tour already shows some of the highlights of the AhrSchleife Köhlerweg in short form - from fall 2026, it will be accompanied by an exciting eavesdropping tour that offers additional insights into nature and history with short stories and audio stations.
The view from the spectacular XXL bench above Müsch takes a little effort, but it is well worth the effort and is rewarded with the conquest of the unusual seating option and a magnificent view.
Along the way, a former charcoal pit provides information about the historical charcoal burning industry and its importance for the former ore mining in the region. The trail continues comfortably through a low hornbeam forest to the next vantage point, the cozy XL panoramic bench above Müsch.A short stopover at the breeding station for climate-resilient pines clearly shows how trees are adapted to climate change and offers insights into modern forest research. A winding forest path soon leads back to Müsch, allowing adventurers of all ages to immerse themselves in the dense mixed forest until they reach the outskirts of Müsch again.
