Skulpturenufer Remagen

On the occasion of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Remagen, the idea of a permanent art project along the Rhine shore was developed in cooperation with the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck.

The installations and works of the Skulpturenufer are meant to be accessible to a broad public in everyday life, thus allowing an open encounter with art. They encourage communication and reflection. The participating artists were invited to install already existing works at locations they chose or to develop works on site. These works in turn form the starting point for exhibitions of the Skulpturenufer artists at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck.

The Skulpturenufer leads you approx. 14 km along the Remagen Rhine shore from Rolandseck to Kripp and can be explored by bike or on foot.
