Hasenberg Krälingen | Small summit route

You can enjoy great views, peace, and relaxation on the family route for summit hikers. Over natural forest paths, past sunlit meadows and pastures leads the scenic round around Hasenberg.

Afterwards, summit hikers can experience a sense of home in the peaceful mountain village of Krälingen. In a farm complex more than 200 years old, hikers, cyclists, and connoisseurs are warmly welcomed in a special atmosphere. It can even happen that Ilse waddles across the yard with chatter.

The start of the summit route around the Hasenberg (472 m) is right in the charming little village of Krälingen at the "Alte Krähe".

The Hasenweg (trail marker "Hase") leads you to the edge of the village and outside the village meets the Gottfried-Kinkel-Weg (trail marker Feather). Here you leave the Hasenweg and follow the Gottfried-Kinkel-Weg to the right. Through quiet and natural mixed forest, the path first gently slopes downward, then goes over a moderate ascent back to the village area of Krälingen.

Passing the former sports field and then turning left onto Lindenweg in the village, the signposted Gottfried-Kinkel-Weg leads out of the village. On the following scenic path south of Hasenberg, impressive views open up.

At the next waypoint, you cross the K31 and from now on follow the Hasenweg, which leads around the summit of Hasenberg. Once on the height, a magnificent view in all directions awaits: to the southwest over the Ahr heights and up to the Hohe Acht, to the east across the Rhine to the Siebengebirge, and to the north far beyond the Cologne Bay.

Benches invite you to enjoy the view before a short descent leads back to the starting point of the hike at the "Alte Krähe".
