Obliers Castle Trail - Three villages nature trails

Slow down, enjoy peace and relaxation - the Ahr heights and side valleys of the Ahr valley are uniquely natural. The hiking trails - connected to the AhrSteig - offer wonderful views and relaxing breaks in nature.

From the hiking board at the chapel in Obliers, follow the signposts with "Burg".

The theme of the circular trail is "The local community through the ages". Three information boards along the way provide information on the theme. The trail leads you above Obliers towards the ruins of Wensburg Castle. At another signpost, you can decide whether you would like to take the approx. 900 m long detour uphill to the ruins of Wensburg Castle. From the signpost, continue over a bridge that crosses the Liersbach. Then cross the K 28 and walk towards the weekend area. On the way, you have a beautiful view of the castle ruins. The route then continues to the Marienkapelle chapel and from there back to the starting point.
