Mulled wine rally Adenau | 13. & 14.12.25 with exciting puzzles

Your adventure starts in front of the town hall, right next to the venerable church of St. John the Baptist. If you look around, you might spot the first clues to times gone by.

From there, follow the path to the northern part of the town. Keep your eyes open: The famous "Silver Arrow" - a piece of motorsport history - is just waiting to be discovered by you.

The trail continues to the tranquil southern part of the city: to the historic Buttermarkt. This is where people used to trade, haggle and laugh. Just let your eyes wander over the charming half-timbered buildings and the Burghaus, the oldest house in Adenau, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere. Along the way, there are always exciting insights into the history of Adenau.

At the end, the route takes you back to the heart of the city and offers you the opportunity to visit the Adenau Christmas market.

You start directly at the town hall in front of the Church of St. John the Baptist in the historic center of the city. From there, you pass the church on the right, first to the historic market square. The route then continues along the main road to the north of the town to the famous Silver Arrow at the traffic circle, before using the crosswalk, crossing the main road and heading along Mühlenstraße towards the former hospital. At the end of the parking lot, a small flight of steps leads to Steinweg, which merges into Kollengasse and leads to the market square. A short stretch along Hauptstraße towards the south of the town, then turn left into Schulstraße. At the end of Schulstraße, turn right into Dr.-Erich-Klausener-Str. and follow it past the grammar school to the end, where you turn left again along Hauptstraße to the Am Buttermarkt district. Turn into Buttermarkt-Straße opposite the Buttermarktkapelle chapel, then turn right at the next fork and continue for a short distance via Im Broel and then immediately left again into Im Straußenpesch. Pass the police station and return to the main road. At Schulstraße, use the crosswalk to change sides of the road and turn right into Dr.-Creutz-Platz. Leave the Edeka supermarket on your left and turn left behind the parking lot in the direction of the Protestant church. Turn left again here and take the next right back to the starting point in Kirchstraße.
