You can customize the starting point, route, and which wine stands you visit. However, it’s a good idea to plan your route in advance. Well before the event begins, we’ll post a hiking map on our website showing the complete hiking route, the locations of the wine stands, and other important information.
Tip: The stroller-friendly route between Mayschoß and Rech passes by the ruins of Saffenburg Castle. The short, additional climb up to the castle is well worth it, as it offers a fantastic view of the vineyard terraces across the valley and the two wine-growing villages.
