Slow down, enjoy peace and relaxation - the Ahr heights and side valleys of the Ahr Valley are uniquely natural. The hiking trails - connected to the AhrSteig - offer wonderful views and relaxing breaks in nature.
Themed trails with far-reaching views
The three-village nature trails around the village of Lind invite you to actively immerse yourself in the landscape. Information boards along the way on "Forest and Field" provide information on the topic

The start of the hike is at the hiking signboard in front of the community center in Lind-Plittersdorf. First, follow the signs through the weekend area to Hürnig. Along the way, you get the first view of the radio telescope in Effelsberg. Continue to a former mine. After crossing the K 29, the path leads further towards the Liersbach valley, past the "Schwarze Kuhl," to the Sonnenweg. From the weather-protected seating area, there is a great view of Obliers and the Wensburg castle ruins. Continue towards Plittersdorf. Along the way, enjoy a magnificent panoramic view far over the Ahr Heights to the Siebengebirge.
Follow the marked path to return to the starting point of the hike in Plittersdorf.
The hike starts at the hiking sign in front of the Bürgerhaus in Lind- Plittersdorf. First follow the signs through the weekend area to Hürnig. On the way you have a first view of the radio telescope in Effelsberg. Continue to a former mine. After crossing the K 29 and continuing in the direction of the Liersbachtal, past the "Schwarze Kuhl", to the Sonnenweg. From the weather-protected seating area, there is a great view of Obliers and the ruins of Wensburg Castle. Continue in the direction of Plittersdorf. On the way there is a magnificent view far across the Ahr hills to the Siebengebirge.
