Hello, I'm Lotta, the vineyard snail, and I live here in the beautiful Ahr Valley. The Ahr Valley is famous for its vineyards, which you can see everywhere. Today I would like to show you my home and tell you exciting things about the animals, the grapes and much more. The hiking map will help you find your way around. The information boards will help you answer the questions. If you answer all the questions correctly and find the right solution word, you can call yourself an Ahr Valley expert.

The adventure trail for kids starts at Ahrweiler Markt. In total, there are 9 adventure stations along the hiking trail where the vineyard snail Lotta playfully introduces children to the Ahr valley and the grapes. We cross the bridge and head towards the vineyards and the red wine hiking trail. We hike up the hill and turn left at the first opportunity. We reach the red wine hiking trail, which we follow further through the vineyards up to the Government Bunker Documentation Site. Here we follow the red wine hiking trail back down. When the red wine hiking trail leads uphill to the right past Hotel Hohenzollern, we leave the hiking trail and go down the street "am Silberberg" until we see the Roman villa in front of us and a paved path through the vineyards on the left. We keep left and follow the paved path until we reach our starting point again. Pay close attention on your hike so you discover and participate in all the stations!

When the red wine hiking trail leads uphill to the right past the Hotel Hohenzollern, we leave the hiking trail and walk down the road "am Silberberg" until we see the Roemervilla in front of us and a tarmac path through the vineyards on the left. We keep left and follow the tarmac path until we reach our starting point again. Take good care on your hike so that you discover and take part in all the stations!
