Radarena at the Ring BULLS Achterbahn MTB Route 2 (Adenau-Leimbach-Winnerath-Antweiler-Reifferscheid-Hochacht-Adenau)

The well-marked route starts at the edge of the historic town Adenau, at the Breuer bike shop. The town is briefly passed, and then the route dives into the dense mixed forest landscape of the High Eifel. At the beginning, the route is still rather gentle with small climbs, but after about 12 km the route becomes more sporty and demanding, with increasing uphill and downhill rides. Wonderful distant views and bright forest passages alternate and characterize the rapid roller coaster ride.

For the grand finale of the route, just past the hiking parking lot "Hohe Acht," a detour to the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower on the Hohe Acht is recommended: in exchange for about 100 more meters of elevation gain, the breathtaking panoramic view from the highest viewpoint of the Eifel compensates for all the day's efforts. Take a deep breath - pause and enjoy. The last approximately 5 km back to the starting point then run almost on their own, partly steep, partly easy downhill.

Because of the figurative figure-eight shape of the route, it is also possible to explore the route in 2 shorter single stages starting/ending at Leimbach.
