Radarena am Ring: Start in Eichenbach, Road bike route 3

The cycle path network of the Radarena am Ring and many quiet roads in beautiful landscapes offer great possibilities for cyclists of all kinds. Flat routes through river valleys and former railway tracks contrast with the hilly landscape of the low mountain range. Extreme climbs are offered around the Nürburgring and the Hohe Acht.

From the starting point in Eichenbach, the route first goes slightly downhill into the Middle Ahr Valley to Fuchshofen, then initially steeply uphill to the high village of Reifferscheid. The route impresses with the special charm of the Ahr river valley and the heights of the Ahr mountains with magnificent distant views.

Over a total distance of 93.1 km, a remarkable 1518 m of elevation gain is covered. The height difference is 330 m.

The route is classified with the difficulty level "difficult."
