Ice-skating fun in Bad Neuenahr’s spa gardens
From 27 November 2026 to 10 January 2027 , the Spa gardens will once again be transformed into an ice-skating arena: On a 450-square-metre ice rink, young and old alike are once again invited to enjoy ice skating and curling under the banner ‘Kurpark on Ice’. Anyone without their own skates can hire them on site. There will also be a small selection of drinks on offer, including mulled wine from local winemakers and children’s punch.
Together with the riverside illuminations, which begin on 4 December, the Spa gardens will be transformed into a unique Christmas and winter wonderland for all ages.

Stroll past romantically illuminated works of art, sampling fine mulled wine from local vineyards and regional specialities, browsing for a special gift or souvenir, listening to an atmospheric concert, lacing up your skates for the ‘ ’ ice rink, or simply sitting back and watching the festive hustle and bustle: The Uferlichter 2026 transforms the Bad Neuenahr Spa gardens into an atmospheric winter wonderland for all ages with an attractive cultural programme.
The Uferlichter will be open not only on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th weekends of Advent (Fridays to Sundays each weekend), but also ‘between Christmas and New Year’ from 27 to 30 December 2026, as well as on the weekends of 1 to 3 January and 8 to 10 January 2027.
