Nature and indulgence tour around Dernau, including a wine tasting featuring wines from the VDP and Weingut Kreuzberg, and a light snack at the Zum Scheiffer wine bar in Dernau
Theme: Pinot Noir
Join us for a guided wine-tasting walk on Sunday, 20 September, around Dernau. You’ll walk through the beautiful autumnal countryside and explore the Dernau vineyards. Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts about winegrowing on the Ahr and the Ahr Valley, and enjoy a glass of Pinot Noir in the middle of the vineyard during a break from the walk. After the roughly 2-hour walk, the group will head together to the Zum Scheiffer wine bar in Dernau, where a wine tasting featuring further wines from the VDP.Weingut Kreuzberg, as well as a delicious platter of snacks, will be waiting for you.

Time: 1 pm to 4 pm
Meeting point: ‘Zum Scheiffer’ wine bar, Schmittmannstraße 31, Dernau
Duration: approx. 3 hours (2-hour walk, one-hour wine tasting with snacks)
Route: approx. 6–7 kilometres, easy to moderately difficult
Price: 36 euros per person

Weather information: In the event of heavy rain, hail, storms or thunderstorms, the walk will be cancelled for safety reasons. Should the walk be cancelled, the organiser will inform you in good time.
