Duo Walachowski - Klavierfarben mit vier Händen

To mark the conclusion of the Remagen Classical Music Festival 2026/2027, the internationally Walachowski sisters, a renowned piano duo, to a musical journey through various eras and stylistic worlds. The programme ranges from Ravel’s rousing ‘Boléro’ through works by Gershwin, Dvořák and Brahms to Saint-Saëns. Well-known works from the piano repertoire, tonal contrasts and diverse musical languages combine to create a varied evening of concert music.

Anna and Ines Walachowski have been performing together for many years on renowned concert stages and at festivals both at home and abroad. Their venues include, amongst others, the Berlin Philharmonie and the Gewandhaus in Leipzig. Exceptionally precise ensemble playing, technical brilliance, finely attuned sensitivity and great musical expressiveness characterise their interpretations and lend each work its own distinctive style. The sisters gained international recognition at an early stage through outstanding reviews and numerous concert engagements.

Their eleven CD recordings to date feature works by major composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. In addition to their concert activities, Anna and Ines Walachowski regularly collaborate with renowned artists and ensembles, thereby broadening their musical horizons beyond the classical concert hall.
