Klassiker der romantischen Klavierliteratur
"A perfect romantic virtuoso, technically brilliant, expressive, sensitive without false sentimentality." This is how the NRZ once characterised the American pianist Menachem Har-Zahav, who has been at home in Germany since 1998, summarising the many facets that characterise his playing.
Menachem Har-Zahav has made a name for himself in the world of classical music. With more than a thousand public appearances in the USA and Europe, he has won great acclaim from critics and audiences alike. His emotional and sensitive piano playing and his technical brilliance never fail to impress and delight music lovers.
The programme includes Frédéric Chopin's famous Funeral March Sonata by Johannes Brahms, the Sonata No. 1 in C major and the Piano Pieces Opus 119 as well as the Ballade in B minor by Franz Liszt, all classics of the Romantic era of music.
