Old Town Hall, Ahrweiler
The old town hall of Ahrweiler was built around 1778 and initially served as a town guardhouse and armoury for the bourgeois rifle squad. Later, from 1797 to 1907, it was the town hall and at times also the residence of the mayor. The two-storey late rococo building with mansard roof and magnificent trophy superstructure is an architectural gem and popular photo motif in the heart of the old town.
