The most beautiful bends in the Ahr in the Ahr Valley
Hiking blogger ‘Reiseziege’ explores the new circular walks along the Ahr
For three days in mid-May, hiking blogger Steffi Hetzel – alias Reiseziege – was out and about on the new AhrSchleifen trails in the Ahr Valley – and discovered completely new spots and vantage points along the Ahr.
Whether it’s gentle paths through the vineyards, narrow trails past steep slopes, or wild, unspoilt and full of adventure right through the heart of the forest: for Steffi, the Ahr Valley is one of the most varied hiking regions in Germany. Hardly anywhere else do leisurely, enjoyable walks and unspoilt, almost alpine trails alternate as impressively as they do here along the AhrSchleifen. In her blog post, she takes you on a hiking tour along the Ahr.
