The steep vineyards along the Ahr not only invite you to enjoy wonderful walks and breathtaking views – they also give you access to one of Germany’s most famous red wine regions and to the fascinating world of Ahr wine. Spend two relaxing nights including breakfast (longer stays possible) and immerse yourself in the regional wine culture. On a cellar tour of the world’s oldest winegrowers’ co-operative, you’ll gain fascinating insights into the art of viticulture – and of course, a glass of Ahr wine is a must. In the wine shop of the Ahrweiler Winegrowers’ Association, you’ll also find a wine tasting platter featuring four different wines, allowing you to sample various Ahr wines at your own pace.

For your exploration of the Ahr Valley, you’ll receive a walking map – ideal for actively experiencing the unique landscape. So that you can enjoy Ahr wine whilst out and about, we’ll kit you out for your hike with a stylish wine glass, a handy wine glass holder and a bottle of Ahr wine.
