A walking weekend for wine lovers

During the “Mittelahr Wine Spring”, the wineries and winegrowers’ cooperatives of the Ahr region will once again be presenting their fine wines – right where they’re grown.

Equipped with a wine glass and glass holder, you can look forward to tasting Ahr wines along the Rotweinwanderweg and in the villages of Altenahr, Mayschoß, Rech and Dernau.

The event is rounded off by food stalls serving regional specialities and live music.

On a guided tour of the historic wooden barrel cellar at the Mayschoß Winegrowers’ Cooperative, you’ll gain an insight into winemaking at Germany’s oldest winegrowers’ cooperative.

The “Weinfrühling Mittelahr” wine and walking event takes place every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 24 April to 23 May 2027. The package deal can be booked during this period.
