Small but fine wine festival in the heart of Walporzheim
From 22 to 24 August, the wine village of Walporzheim, also known as the gateway to the romantic Ahr Valley, will once again host the "Rural Wine Festival". The festival mile on the village square with its beautiful half-timbered houses will be all about wine. The festival organisers have once again put together a rich and varied live music programme for music-loving wine festival visitors who want to party and dance, which will attract many visitors from near and far to the Ahr Valley.
Friday, 21 August 2026:
7.00 pm: Opening of the wine stands
7.00 pm: Proclamation of the new wine majesties 2026/27
followed by live music with "Rio 5"
Saturday, 22 August 2026:
2.00 pm: Opening of the wine stands
2.00 pm: Ahrtaler Hobby Musi
4.00 pm: Honouring of the jubilee wine queens, music by the Ahrweiler/Walporzheim choir community
7.00 pm: Live music with "Rio 5"
Sunday, 23 August 2026:
11.00 am: Opening of the wine stands
11.00 am: Musikfreunde Lantershofen
3.00 pm: Winzerfest parade
4.00 pm: Live music with DJ Fosco
