The Queen Kings - "Bohemian Rhapsody"

For their show, the musicians of Queen Kings have drawn inspiration from the film “Bohemian Rhapsody” and, alongside their greatest hits, are bringing the legendary set to the stage – the very one with which Queen thrilled tens of thousands of spectators at the Live Aid concert in London’s Wembley Stadium, as well as millions of viewers watching the broadcast. You can also look forward to all the other tracks featured in the film, played 100% live by the musicians of Queen Kings.

The band led by lead singer Sascha Krebs has been touring Germany and Europe for many years and is regarded as one of the very best Queen tribute bands around. Members of the band have previously worked with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen and were also part of the musical *We Will Rock You*. In their show, they perfectly capture the sound and spirit of Queen and captivate audiences with their immense passion. This brings you really close to the legends. They have also performed successfully at fan club meetings organised by the international Queen fan club, earning the respect of the biggest Queen fans worldwide.

The Queen Kings line-up includes, alongside lead singer Sascha Krebs – who has the same vocal range as Freddie Mercury, guitarist Drazen Zalac, who revives the distinctive sound of Brian May using original equipment. Drummer Jan Wienstroer and bassist Rolf Sander are responsible for the Sonic Volcano groove. Freddie Mercury’s extravagant piano playing and full orchestral sounds are provided by Christof Wetter on keyboards. The sextet is completed by singer Susann de Bollier, who, with the backing vocals of all the band members, sings the rich harmonies of the Queen songs – as in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ – 100 per cent live. A special highlight in true Queen spirit at a time when playback has become firmly established in the music industry.
