Wine enjoyment on the Ahrweiler marketplace at Whitsun 2027
Every year on Whitsun weekend from Friday to Monday, sparkling wines, wines and brandies from the wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives of the Ahr take centre stage on the marketplace in Ahrweiler.
The wine market, also known as the Whitsun wine market, has been a permanent fixture on the Ahr for many years. The wine event impresses with its special flair, good music and entertainment in an extraordinary atmosphere.
A special highlight of the wine market takes place every year on Friday evening: The crowning of the new regional wine queen of the Ahr, the Ahr Wine Queen, who is chosen a few hours beforehand by an expert jury.
The market square will be well catered for. The local gastronomy also invites you to savour culinary delights and looks forward to your visit.
