Wojciech Waleczek - Werke von Bach bis Liszt

The Polish pianist Prof. Dr Wojciech Waleczek, who performs internationally, presents an impressive programme ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to Franz Liszt. The recital, featuring masterpieces of the piano repertoire, combines lyrical musical poetry with virtuoso brilliance, including Debussy’s ‘Clair de Lune’, Bach’s ‘Toccata and Fugue in D minor’, Chopin’s ‘Romance from the Piano Concerto No. 1’, Beethoven’s “Overture from the 5th Symphony”, as well as Liszt’s “Liebestraum No. 3” and his “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2”.

Waleczek performs regularly in major concert halls and at festivals across Europe, Asia, North and South America. These include, for example, the Rudolfinum in Prague, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires and the Kościuszko Foundation in New York. His repertoire spans works from the Baroque era to the present day, with a focus on the European piano tradition. In addition to his concert engagements, he serves as a jury member at international competitions.
