Oktoberfest mit Hüttenflair

When the Oktoberfest festivities are already coming to an end elsewhere, the Hemmessen civic society is just getting started: on 24 and 25 October, the Hemmessen the Hemmessener Hütte high above Bad Neuenahr, directly on the red wine hiking trail, into a piece of Bavaria in the Ahr valley. Celebrations take place in a rustic hut atmosphere with alpine charm and panoramic views.
Under the motto "It can hail, snow or pour - we celebrate in the Hemmessener Hütten!" we celebrate in any weather. The hut is heated, an outdoor tent provides additional protection.
Culinary delights include Bavarian classics such as knuckle of pork, veal sausages, Leberkäse, pretzels and Oktoberfest beer. The atmosphere will be provided on Saturday from 1 pm by Jürgen Schick and on Sunday from 1 pm the Duo Edelweiß.
Guests in dirndls or lederhosen receive a free "Verdauerle". A shuttle bus runs on both days from Hemmesser Dom (corner of Sebastianstr./Uhlandtstr.) to the hut.
