XXL-Bank Heimersheim
The XXL bench is located south-east of Heimersheim, directly on the famous AhrSteig trail. The Ahrsteig leads through a fascinating landscape and presents numerous numerous remarkable hotspots along its route. One particularly impressive stop on this hike is undoubtedly the imposing giant bench in Bad giant bench in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler / Heimersheim.
Even from a distance
hikers realise from a distance that they are heading for an extremely unusual
resting place. The approximately 5 metre long and 3 metre high bench is a popular photo motif and a real eye-catcher. It was built in spring 2014 from 3.6 cubic metres of planed larch. From the bench, you can enjoy the fantastic view over Heimersheim and the Landskrone during a short break.
