Naturfreundehaus Berg

The Naturfreundehaus Berg is located in a wooded area, approx. 500 metres outside the village of Berg (320 metres above sea level) in the idyllic Vischeltal, a quiet side valley of the Ahr. The school country home is embedded in a landscape conservation area with diverse habitats (mixed and alluvial forest, wet and dry meadows, streams, fields, pastures), approx. 3.6 ha are owned by the school. 3.6 hectares are the house's own grounds at different altitudes with various biotopes.

The Naturefriends have come up with an adventure tour for you come up with. What's special about it: there is a pre-packed nature experience for young and old explorers a pre-packed nature experience rucksack to borrow. This contains an accompanying book with ideas for research, games and activities as well as research materials for families, school classes or youth groups. Your research results you can enter in a questionnaire.

A total of 4 rucksacks are available. Together they contain enough material for an entire school class. For the loan a small fee will be charged.
